Trustees Pat & Charlie are never off PAC duty!
They checked out the scale of the climb from a bar in the V&A Waterfront, well somebody had too.
Set off at 7.00am from the foot of Table Mountain via the 12 Apostles route. After a 10k hike rising 1050m, we reached the summit 5 hours later.
Terry Dwyer (PAC supporter, annual PAC golfer, and a friend of Charlie) suggested we walk up Table Mountain whilst in Cape Town and he’d sponsor it to match the cost of the guide & experience.
Nicky Wright provided the Penguin to carry with us! It was incredible and we’ve raised £440 to ease the blisters.
