Penguin Peloton Day 2. Raising £50,000 for the charity Penguins Against Cancer.
Thanks to Charlie for a review of day 2:
Dawn saw a keen Jackass Penguin Peloton team ready to brave the day ahead.
Relatively swift progress saw the team reaching the excellent Acorns Coffee Shop for breakfast, no rain so far.
The trail continued to the wonderful The Cock At Stowe which produced an amazing pasta bake to fuel the venture, 35 of 80 miles done on day 2.
An update from George at the end of stage 3: "First three stages today were 15, 42 and 25 Km, all a little tired, slightly achy legs and knees, no rain, all in fine spirits, sun is shining! If you haven't donated yet, you know what to do!"
The riders continued under Azure sky to the delightful London café in Stoke.
The Peloton were joined by the Sherry Squad at the overnight stop and after a couple of calls to action to get everyone to dinner at 18:00, the evening continued with a social and sing along.
If you can donate you will be contributing to Penguins Against Cancer, allowing the charity to raise cancer awareness, grant funds to cancer research, treatment, and hospices. All donations gratefully received.
