The inaugural Chris Howell Urological Cancer Research grant was awarded to Mr Max Stewart, a MRC Clinical Research Training Fellow at the University of Oxford.
The £5,000 research grant from Penguins Against Cancer is matched by a further £5,000 from The Urology Foundation Small Projects Awards, making the total research grant £10,000 to support the funding of Mr Stewart's work.
The subject of Mr Stewart's research work is "Reducing the Morbidity of Radical Prostatectomy: Feasibility of intra-operative stimulation of the cavernous nerve".
The management of the award is through The Urology Foundation.
